5 years ago, I was in a car accident. I was
legally declared dead for about 4 and a half minutes, but during
this time I was
given a glimpse of the afterlife that has fundamentally altered
my perception of the tangible world that precedes it.
I had hitherto lived my life without any strong religious
convictions. I do however recognize that the concept of "Hell"
existed across many cultures and religions, and although its
nature varies according to interpretation, I can say in no
uncertain terms that that is exactly what I saw.
Worse yet, I understood by some preternatural instinct that the
place I had found myself in was not the result of my failure to
observe any religious guidelines, nor was it the result of any
moral failing. It is a place that we are all bound for
regardless of our actions, beliefs, or any other discernible
quality. There is something fundamental about the human "soul"
that ties us to the place I found myself during that time.
The experience itself was far more abstract than I could
reasonably convey in words. What I present to you here is the
closest approximation I could muster to explain the experience
awaiting you. What you do with this information is entirely
within your own hands. I spent many sleepless night deliberating
over whether I should share this at all. Surely, I was much
happier before these revelations but I also felt that I had an
obligation to share this information so that you could possibly
prepare yourself for it, and to some of you it is perhaps a kind
of relief.
